Mr. Alvaro Domenech, LCSW is a Qualified Clinical Supervisor with over 20 years of progressive experience in Clinical Social Work, Management and Leadership. Mr. Domenech earned his Masters Degree in Social Work from Barry University in 1995. In that same year Mr. Domenech was hired to teach and subsequently coordinate the Divorce program at Miami Dade College. Mr. Domenech retired from The Institute for Child and Family Health (formerly known as Children’s Psychiatric Center), after 20 years of service in December of 2015. His last appointment at ICFH which lasted 8 years was as Director of Outreach program. Mr. Domenech became The Clinical Director of ABC’s for Success in January 2016 where he worked to grow the mission and service statement of the organization until October 2019, when he transitioned to Clinical Director of Community Mental Health Center.
Mr. Domenech specialized in clinical work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Currently, his focus is adults, co-parenting, and couples. He has training in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, family, and evidenced based therapies. He is a board qualified clinical supervisor for Mental Health Counselors and Social Workers. He is also a seasoned field internship supervisor for Florida International University, Barry University, and Nova Southeastern University.
